The Telepathy Tapes

The “Telepathy Tapes” podcast series centers around a group of people known as “non-speaking autists”, or “non-speakers” for short. These people cannot communicate with verbal language and often struggle with physical/mobility challenges as well. This makes life incredibly difficult for them and their families. Getting a regular education for these children is always a fight, as many teachers are simply not equipped to deal with this extra challenge to their classrooms and the student often ends up getting neglected and/or ignored. It is truly an unfortunate situation.
To make things worse, non-speakers have mostly been considered something of a “lost cause” by the orthodoxy of child psychology. Because they do not speak, most professionals have historically proclaimed non-speakers as also non-thinkers and non-learners. However, the mothers of non-speakers emphatically deny this.
As of this writing, the podcast consists of 10 episodes that explore and verify many of the awe-inspiring stories that these courageous mothers have to tell about the rich inner lives of their children. As the name of the podcast implies, some non-speakers are, in fact, able to communicate; they communicate directly, with their minds. The host of the podcast travels to the homes of many of these non-speakers to see it for herself. She meticulously designs “cheat-proof” experiments with which to test the veracity of the claims. Time and time again her and her staff were left astounded as the non-speakers produced the thought, image, or word that their mother was focusing on in a separate room of the house. The beauty and brilliance of this podcast is that the host begins her journey as a complete layman on a determined quest for truth and takes us on a journey of curiosity and discovery that reveal a depth and wonder that no one could have expected.
Telepathy is just the tip of the iceberg. It turns out that many of these non-speakers have gifts that range well beyond telepathy. From episode 6 and onwards, the series delves into the various “spiritual gifts” that different non-speakers possess. One child, although not able to communicate nor physically function well while awake in his physical body, is nonetheless fully functional and able to communicate in his dreams. In his dreams he tells people his thoughts and feelings. Time and time again, when the receivers of his communications wake up, they verify that, indeed, the communication was real and authentic. The boy’s parents have fully accepted that their child has a rich and real inner life and that, just because his physical body and mind are handicapped, his inner soul and spirit are free and vibrant when unburdened by the physical body. The communications they have during sleeping hours have enabled them to make the days happier and more fulfilling for their child.
This non-speaking child confirms that, in the subtle realm, communication doesn’t necessarily happen with words and speech, but by direct thought transference. That is, by the sending of an image or of an entire concept altogether and at once. The earlier experiments in the podcast also describe their experiences with telepathy in this way -that they often see images or complete concepts, rather than hear words.
This all seems to suggest that the material that serves as the conduit for thoughts and information exists both in the waking world as well as in the dreaming world (subtle realm). It might even be the same exact substance, giving more weight to the notion that the physical and subtle worlds co-exist and interpenetrate each other. Exciting!
This podcast gave me so much to think about and the presentation was outstanding. It was eye opening to see and learn that this often-overlooked population among us might be a major key to the bringing of concepts like the subtle realm, telepathy, life after death, and the extension of consciousness beyond the body into the mainstream.
